Key
Responsibilities would include :

To
provide technical support for identified Western UP districts
to draft, implement and monitor districts’ routine immunization
plans.

Together with key partners, assist in the coordination of and
play a secretariat role as necessary for district RI taskforces
-
Advocate the use of and dissemination of a standard RI monitoring
format
-
Assist
in the regular collection, dissemination, analysis and feedback
on RI data
-
Together
with partner agencies, assist in training DIOs and BMOs in strengthening
routine immunization activities
-
To provide support for other aspects of polio eradication efforts
when necessary

| Requirements:
Qualifications/ Experience |
- Previous
practical immunization experience at least at district level is
essential
-
Previous field and training experience
-
Qualification in medicine with specific epidemiology skills
-
Experience of implementing health projects with training elements
-
Ability to work in a team environment and be prepared to travel
extensively
-
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written reports
-
Ability to work and share information with multiple partners

and Conditions : |
| The
selected candidates will be recruited on a contract through December
2007. Contract renewal will be based on a performance evaluation.
Gross annual salary is approximately Rs. 7 lakh and is subject to
taxation as per Indian law. |
